I’m looking for an accommodation where I can be thoughtfully served. And that was all I need. A vague concept but not too hard to find.
What does comfort mean when I mention to serviced apartment?
The first impression about the hospitality was great at wherever I visited. But it’s obviously, it’s the very first basic rule of hospitality service: welcome and greet. If they cannot even satisfy, I would step out immediately without seeing anything.
Next, I will try to find if there is any space that I can relax beside my room. On weekends, sometimes I’m lazy to go outside neither stay on my bed for whole day of course
I don’t want to waste my time on daily chores, it’s not because I cannot do it, just because myself deserves to have a rest after work. The comfort does not stop at one day cleaning + one day off but is everyday there will be someone do that for me so I can stop thinking about it. Even washing my dishes, urghh, I hate it the most.
I’m a lady, so sometimes if there is anything in the room needs to be fixed, I don’t expect there will be an engineer appears immediately but just a maintenance guy 24/24 support me as soon as possible. Well that is a great advantage and I don’t ask for more than the building’s support.
I definitely will not choose an apartment where I cannot be listened to. I’m just a normal lady as everybody out there, I also need to be helped, be shared and be understood. The management team at least must have decision making, problem solving and customer service skill. I don’t expect it will be a professional team but what I expect is that everything must be solved appropriately.
After all, the comfort according to a tenant like me is not anything regulated to standard, but comes from the smallest things where a serviced apartment has to experience enough to understand.
