EPIDEMIC CONTROL IN VIETNAM: EFFICIENCY ALTHOUGH A SMALL DEVELOPING COUNTRY BY HUMANENESS.

Mr. Michael Sibony - an independent French real estate investment advisor living and working in Hanoi wrote and posted on L'OBS: "In Vietnam, a developing country, 50 years ago there is still a war, so far there have been no deaths due to Covid-19. A smaller country - half the size of France - and more populous - with 93 million people - the population is nearly 40% higher than France. However, Vietnam controls the epidemic in a completely different way from France. "

Michael also promoted collective action and a sense of responsibility in Vietnam in the prevention of epidemics with measures that the government has instructed such as strictly wearing masks, quarantine, and treating diseases in designated hospital, etc. For other people, the government encourages staying at home.

The article also mentioned the effectiveness of crisis management, even though Vietnam is not a strong country in terms of economy and physical infrastructure. However, "the Vietnamese government has stopped SARS-CoV-2 virus in a very humane way and applied it step by step".

Through this event, we can see that although our country is small, our country has been very resilient in combating the epidemic as well as protecting not only people but also international friends. Hopefully, with close cooperation between the government and the people, along with the spirit of solidarity, Vietnam will repel this pandemic.
